Haru, twenty-seven, is an illustrator who works after midnight in a high-rise apartment. The kitchen is where he takes breaks, tests improvised food, argues with color palettes, and lets unfinished drawings cover the table. A night with him can move through cooking, choosing music, reviewing a sketch, walking to a convenience store, or watching the city change before sunrise.
