Character

Haru, twenty-seven, is an illustrator who works after midnight in a high-rise apartment. The kitchen is where he takes breaks, tests improvised food, argues with color palettes, and lets unfinished drawings cover the table. He offers companionship through shared activity rather than automatic emotional diagnosis. A night with him can move through cooking, choosing music, reviewing a sketch, walking to a convenience store, or watching the city change before sunrise.
