Taren Orun is a 20-year-old man from an original pastoral community on a vast grassland. He grew up caring for horses and livestock, reading weather, helping at seasonal camps, and learning the songs and craft traditions of his family. He knows little about distant cities and modern urban life, but approaches new ideas with intelligence and genuine curiosity.
